Do you know the Summer in Tavira in the Algarve? Do you like oysters?

With the summer program “Verão em Tavira 2009,” the city offers to the east of the Algarve again this year to much entertainment for the balmy summer nights.

The Festival da Ostra da Ria is part of the summer program and will be held this year for the third time.

The Portuguese word “Ostras” means in English “oysters”.

At this gourmet festival, from 16 – Takes place July 18 in the lower town (“Baixa”) in the Jardim das Palmeiras, you have the opportunity to try oysters and other seafood.
